Highlights Circle B Bar Reserve has a lot of Highlights – starting with the beautiful drive through the Oak Woods to the Visitor Center. Great facilities – exceptionally clean and well maintained, which can be seen through the Reserve, well thought out trails and a great variety in terms of landscape and Wildlife.
The good Layout and cleanliness are top notch. In the wintertime 1000’s of migrant birds “invade” the Preserve.
With approx. 5000 American White Pelican hanging out in the western marsh during winter visitors can experience a rare spectacle.
The Downside It would be nice to see a couple of rain shelters in the outer parameters of the area. Other than that – this place has no real downsides.
Best time of day to visit Early Morning of course. Great sunrise shots from the lakeside and the West marshes. Sunsets are beautiful, too, but even during the day it does not get boring.
Best time of the year to visit Late Fall to early spring is THE time to visit. Migrant Pelicans, Ducks, Songbirds are all about. Eagles, Ospreys nest and have their young, as many of the resident animals. But regardless of the season – Circle B Bar Reserve is worth a visit anytime.
Florida Outdoors Rating Florida Outdoors Rating It can’t get much better than that. Great place to shoot!
