Resources

Along with all the other topics, that Florida Outdoors is going to offer in the coming months,
Resources for the Photographer is hopefully something that you enjoy and will contribute
to.

Here’s what’s being planned:

  • Tips & Tricks
A section for the little things that can make your Photographers life a little easier.
Hardware or Software hints and how to’s and short Tutorials for issues of general
    interest.
  • Tutorials
The extended version of the Tips above. A little more comprehensive and complex,
Pros will lead you through the steps of how to take better pictures or to improve
them, once they are already taken
  • Seminars & Workshops*
A bit far out yet – but something that definitely will happen.
Although there are tons of High Key workshops and Seminars for all sorts of issues
available – many of them are geared towards professionals and the beginner
is sort of left at the roadside. We plan to change that.
From Workshops on how to take Wildlife images with your point and shoot or
entry level camera to managing Photoshop.
  • Guided Tours*
Also addressing those who are starting out and the intermediates. Small groups
take Nature walks with an experienced Photographer and learn to avoid the mistakes
they themselves made when they started out.
  • Daytrips for out of state photographers – and those new to certain regions.*
A network of seasoned photographers is already in place to make the most of your
short visit to Florida. These guys know where to go at what time of the year. And even
though Wildlife is unpredictable and you never know what you will find, our guys and girls
enhance you odds with their intimate knowledge of the region and it’s wildlife.

*Yeah – it’ll cost something. We’re not quite there yet, to be able to announce details, but one
thing is certain: It will be reasonable and affordable. So you won’t have to sell your camera
to afford it! :)
